Switching the state accreditation procedure into electronic format

The representatives of NAA, Main State Center for Education Evaluation, Russian Youth Union and the expert of Rosobrnadzor had an informal meeting with journalists to discuss the forthcoming changes in the work of these structures. Lemka S. Izmaylova, NAA’s Director, told about the innovations in the state accreditation procedure.

Currently, HEIs can submit documents to Rosobrnadzor for obtaining a license or a state accreditation certificate in both paper and electronic formats. The number of electronic applications submitted In 2017 through the applicant's personal account doubled compared to the previous year.

In 2018, licenses and state accreditation certificates will be also issued in the electronic format.

"Switching the state accreditation procedure into an electronic format will significantly reduce not only financial expenses, but also time for logistical operations," said Lemka S. Izmaylova, NAA’s Director.

The switch to the provision of public services in electronic format is carried out in accordance with the decision of the Russian Government. Moreover, Rosobrnadzor is currently improving the regulatory and methodological support of this activity, and is working at the creation of electronic archives and security measures.
