Regular meeting of the Subcommittee on Science and Education between Russia and Uzbekistan

On October 9, 2022, Lemka Izmaylova, NAA’s Director, took part in the fourth meeting of the Subcommittee on Science and Education of the Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Uzbekistan. The meeting was organized in the format of a video conference.

During the event, the activity on the development of Russian-Uzbek cooperation in education and science was continued. Ms Izmaylova devoted her speech to the implementation of the protocol of the third meeting of the Subcommittee on Science and Education. She also noted that the development of educational cooperation between Russia and Uzbekistan had recently reached a qualitatively new level.

To date, branches of the leading Russian universities operate in the Republic of Uzbekistan. Constant exchange of experience on the issues of assessing the quality of education is carried out within the framework of joint seminars and working meetings.
